Lightscape Partners invests in early stage companies in and around the AI ecosystem including the application layer, infra layer, data, compute, energy, and robotics. Some of our portfolio companies include Etched, Fulcra Dynamics, Profitmind, Private AI, Vizit, Shield AI, and Standard Bots, among others.
The goal at Lightscape is not just to provide commoditized capital but help our portfolio companies with as much involvement as the founders see fit (be it through strategic insights, cross-portfolio collaboration, generating new product and sales opportunities, making key introductions or helping professionalize businesses).
Lightscape was founded by Jim Rowen and Sohail Khalid who bring extensive experience in C-suite, founder, and advisor roles with expertise in professionalizing, automating, and driving growth at both large and small businesses. Jim was most recently partner/board member/COO of Renaissance Technologies, while Sohail has experience founding and exiting multiple startups of his own.
