Forbion was born out of ABN AMRO Capital Life Sciences in 2000. Six years later, we transitioned to Forbion Capital Partners. Today, to emphasize our value-add beyond merely providing capital, we are simply known as Forbion. For more than two decades, our investment team has built an impressive track record of sourcing, building and guiding life-sciences companies resulting in many breakthrough therapies and valuable exits.
Forbion currently manages over €2.3 bn across ten funds. As of October 2022, Forbion holds 43 active portfolio companies bringing its investments to 95 companies to date with 46 employees.
