Cottonwood Technology Fund is an early stage venture capital fund that makes impact investments in Key Enabling Technologies (Deep Tech & Hard Science).
Cottonwood's investment criteria are as follows:
Sector focus: B2B High-Tech/ Hard Science (e.g. Photonics, Micro- and Nanoelectronics, Nanotech, Advanced Materials, Climate Tech, Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics)
Regional focus: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Southwest USA (NM, AZ, UT, CO, TX)
Business Stage: Pre-Seed, Seed & Early Stage
Ticket Size: min. €500.000 and max. €3 million in the first round
Other Requirements: IP/ patent-based technology
