Cosmic has developed Cosmic-1A, an autonomous, all-electric mobile robot designed for rugged utility-scale solar construction. It combines a heavy-duty industrial manipulator—capable of lifting large-format PV modules—with an all-terrain drivetrain. Using stereo vision and GPS, the system navigates dynamic job sites with precision, autonomously picking and installing solar modules directly from a trailer onto racking. Users can check in on Cosmic-1A units from anywhere with Constellation Solar, an all-in-one web dashboard to keep track of tasks, metrics, and to get live feeds from equipment. Constellation consolidates telemetry and automates the paperwork so that project management can focus on running the site rather than tracking down equipment and materials.
